Only three more weeks until my record release! Which means less than one week until I leave for tour with my band and Tink Tink (that’s my cute little blue trailer). Everything is sort of mostly coming together, kind of. I’ve been busy the last couple of days with desk work, uploading, downloading, emailing and flyering, but I’ve had some fun work as well. In the process of hanging posters all over town I’ve also been hiding golden tickets, which are made from the gold foil used to hot stamp my book covers and will get you in to my record release show for free. I take a photo of each ticket that I hide around the city and then send it out to instagram, twitter and facebook. In case you missed them, a few of the locations are hinted at in the photos below!
I’ve also been spending some time with my newest baby, an early 70′s Fender Pro Reverb. I’m really excited to introduce her to the band tomorrow when we practice in my parent’s basement (I never thought I’d see the day, but desperate times call for desperate measures!).
Another fun happening was picking up a sweet flyer drawn by the amazing and talented Jeff Beaver for my show on November 17 (with Brooks Ritter and Daniel and the Lion!). It’s pretty darn epic. I’m lucky to have awesome friends who are willing to make trades.
And now it’s time for me to head up to the North Country. Tink Tink and the Lost Boys await in the Never Never Land of my parent’s basement.
